“Your books and prints were great, but being a metal man instead of a wood worker, I made it out of 10 GA steel. I did not make mine to float. Instead of all the mechanical levers and etc. I went with hydraulics and it turned out real well. I have a small plasma and cut out all the patterns right from my cardboard patterns. My grandson was happy to help out as well.”
“I’ve called this one, the MINI-PETE. I used a 8 HP gas engine, split differential rear end and 5 gallon pump with 4 gallon tank. It has all the bells and whistles to give it an authentic military look: siren, radio, lights, ax and shovel, 2 1/2 gallon gas can, ammo box. Boy do I have a lot of people interested in this jeep!”
“I would make a few changes if I made another one. I would make it out of 14 GA steel and wire weld it instead of 10 GA steel. I also put disc brakes on one wheel as well. I’m planning on driving it in the Dodge City parade this year.”

I have bought my Mini-Beep manual and plan on starting this project with my grandson in the fall. I’m excited about it and can’t wait to get started!

I’ve been working on my mini beep for about 2 weeks. Everything has been pretty smooth. However I am having some trouble putting the rear axel together so if someone could provide me with some advise that would be great. Thx
