The S-Series is the lowest priced ride-on model offered! The S-Series has a similar drive system as the original MD196K Kit with the addition of a centrifugal-clutch and a foot throttle. No more slipping belts and finer control ability. If you’re looking to pull smaller logs, make a garden, grade a driveway, plow snow, this may be the perfect machine for you. Many manual attachments are offered for the S-Series, including: rippers, blades, rakes, box scrapers, draw-bars, and a handy 2″ receiver hitch: perfect for towing wagons and self propelled garden tillers. Tough jobs are no match. The Vanguard 12V3 small engine for outdoor power equipment features Overhead Valve (OHV) technology and a 3-in-1 control that eliminates oil/fuel dilution. Despite its size this 6.5 HP engine can tackle the toughest of jobs. Paired with excellent quality this engine has outstanding reliability.
The TCP™ system is a consistent and precise trademarked steel track design, that consists of matched rear drive and front idler sprockets. Simultaneously engaging both track chains, provides redundancy in case of debris interference.

The S-Series turns 360 degrees in half the space. Because you can rotate the tracks in opposite directions at the same time, the S-Series turns in it’s own length. The S-Series turns in just over 5 ft. A comparably powered compact tractor requires more than twice the space – over 10 ft. of clear space to turn around. Left and right drive handles are centered with the operator, giving easy access to left and right track controls. Instant power to forward and reverse, means no shifting gears, just push one handle forward and the other rearward to turn on a dime.
